Three Great Housing Options

Fayette Campus students have three comfortable student housing options: Traditional residence hall, suite-style and apartment-style living. All are conveniently located on campus.

Traditional Housing

Garbee Hall is a traditional style residence hall and it is the primary living area for incoming freshmen students.

Accommodations encompass three South Village buildings that house about 30 students per floor.

UIU’s Fayette Campus offers an apartment building on campus called Lee Towers.

Residence Hall and Meal Plan Policy

All students are required to live in University residence halls and maintain a meal plan during their first three years at UIU. All requests to live off campus are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, though requests are rarely granted. Students who fail to take up residency or choose to move off campus without permission will be charged a $3,000 penalty fee per year for the duration of the residency and will be required to enroll, at a minimum, in the 80-Meal Commuter Meal Plan every year for the duration of the residency requirement.
